Callers, lawyers and volunteers who quit

On Sunday, Norwegians will donate nearly 300 million to the Children’s Cancer Society. In parts of society, it has been simmering for years.

Every year, the NRK TV campaign collects between NOK 200 and 300 million from the people of Norway. This year, the money will go to the Children’s Cancer Society. They have the support of Queen Sonja and our greatest cultural and sporting heroes.

Aftenposten can now record that at least seven cases of notification have been pending in the association in recent years.

This has meant that volunteers had to meet with lawyers, and they have resigned.

Alf Kåre Knudsen is an expert in employment law. He is a lawyer for several of the volunteers who have been exposed to advertisements so far this year.

– I have never seen anything like this in any other association, he says.

In particular, the ads have affected the biggest local team in the association.
