Kelly Silp, 35, from Columbus, was detained by police after the brutal murder of her 5-year-old daughter. The woman is accused of selling her daughter to the murderer.

The suspect objects to everything and on one of the TV shows even stated that “the daughter was the meaning of her life.” The woman claims that the girl was allegedly abducted from her home on December 13th. However, prosecutors have a different version: they believe that the mother sold a 5-year-old girl to 37-year-old Jeremy Williams for sexual exploitation. After that, he raped and strangled the girl. Her body was found at Williams’ home in Phoenix City, Alabama.

The father of 5-year-old girl Corey Holland called the suspect “a monster.” He added that he would insist on fair punishment for the woman.

The police said they are continuing to investigate the high-profile case.
