The 18-year-old is one of three goalkeepers called up by Shin Tae-yong to the U23 national team.

Besides Cahya Supriadi, two other goalkeepers who were called by Shin Tae-yong were Muhammad Adisatryo and Muhammad Riyandi.

Cahya Supriadi is a member of the main squad Persija Jakarta in the 2021-2022 season League 1 competition.

Cahya is the fifth goalkeeper in the Kemayoran Tiger squad after Andritany Adrdhiyasa, Risky Sudirman, Adixi Lenzivio, and Yoewanto Setya Beny.

Cahya Supriadi who was born in Karawang on February 11, 2003 previously played for the Persija youth team.

Before being called up to the U23 national team, Cahya Supriadi had attended the U18 national team training camp to Turkey in November last year.

At that time, Cahya joined the U18 Indonesia national team along with five other Persija young players, namely Muhammad Uchida Sudirman, Muhammad Ferarri, Radzky Syawal Ginting, Raka Cahyana Rizky, and Alfriyanto Nico Saputro.

Now, Cahya Supriadi is back called to defend the country. He is on the list of 29 players prepared by Shin Tae-yong to face the AFF U23 Cup 2022.

Meanwhile, the 2022 AFF U23 Cup will be held in Cambodia on February 14-26.
