Roy Suryo does not accept himself being used as content by social media activists Eko Kunthadi and Mazdjo Pray. Roy Suryo called them both buzzers. What is Eko Kunthadi’s response to the buzzer accusation?
“Yes, it’s okay, Roy Suryo is joking,” said Eko Kunthadi when contacted detik.com, Friday (4/6/2021).
Eko then mentioned the status of Roy Suryo, who is an official and former minister. According to Eko, with this status Roy Suryo has the freedom to call other people as he pleases.
“His name is a big person, former officials have the right to tell people. We are small people, we don’t have the right to make fun of officials,” said Eko.
He added, despite claiming his YouTube content in question Roy Suryo considered as mere joking material, Eko Kunthadi admitted that as an ordinary person he must be ready to be policed by Roy Suryo who is an official.
“I’m a small person, I can’t do anything if Roy Suryo I’m an official, so he has the right to keep me buzzer. I don’t have the right to take care of him. The risk is that the people will take care of the officials, they will be reported to the police,” he explained.
Ready to Apologize
Eko Kunthadi admitted that he only found out that Roy Suryo had reported it to the police today. Although he has not yet communicated with the Democrat Party politician, Eko said he was ready to apologize to Roy Suryo for his content on YouTube.
“Well, it can’t be helped, people are joking. At least I’m sorry for joking. Like this, ‘ahh, I’m joking, sir’,” he said.
Roy Suryo reports Eko Kunthadi and Mazdjo Pray to Polda Metro Jaya this afternoon. Both were reported on charges of defamation through ITE.
“The most interesting thing is that the name of the reported party has been written. So it is no longer under investigation (investigation). Investigators have concluded the name of the reported party.
