Call to get the Certificate of National Language Level (CENNI) B1/9

Mérida, Yucatan, August 25, 2024.- The Ministry of Education of the Government of the State of Yucatan (Segey), in collaboration with the Latin American Educational Communication Institute (ILCE), BBC London, Longman LTD, the University of Cambridge, The Council of Europe and the Ministry of Public Education, invite young people from 12 years of age, students, teachers of subjects other than English and the general public, to participate in the online course to Obtain a National Level Certificate. CENNI) B1/9.

The course is designed to help participants reach an intermediate level in the use of English, giving them the necessary tools in grammar, vocabulary, reading and listening comprehension through online advice, digital materials and ongoing evaluations, with the aim of crediting CENNI. certificate after completing the course.

For those who have previous knowledge of the language, a placement test is offered which consists of 52 multiple choice questions, assessing grammar, vocabulary, reading and listening.

The online course is divided into four stages. Each includes 15 twice-weekly online counseling sessions, a digital workbook, audio recordings, videos, a virtual classroom, solved exercises, online assessments and a certificate issued by the ILCE in digital format to those validating the exams. The Level 4 Course also includes the management and delivery of the CENNI Certificate in digital format.

The courses, which start on September 17, 2024 and end on January 8, 2025, will be taught by teachers qualified by the British Council, ensuring quality teaching through practical activities in grammar, vocabulary, reading and listening comprehension from the first session. Registration, re-registration and implementation of placement tests will be online between August 19 and September 11.
