Call to get babies: “Now 12 euros, from November 700 euros”

Young parents are advised to have their babies vaccinated with the new RSV drug Beyfortus. This will mostly be paid back by the end of October.

The cost is only 12 euros until October 31. After that, it will be more than 700 euros that parents have to put on the table, according to RTV.

RSV is the leading cause of respiratory infections in infants. The drug Beyfortus is said to reduce hospital admissions by 80 percent.

The greatest risk of disease occurs in the first year of life. The disease often manifests itself as very serious. The injection is not compulsory in our country.
