On Wednesday We mentioned on the website about a leak regarding Call of Duty WWII: Vanguard. According to the editors of Modernwarzone, Sledgehammer Games is working on a position set during World War II and the working title is “WWII: Vanguard”.
Eurogamer decided to verify the information and confirms – in 2021, we will play a shooter that will take daredevils to the times of World War II. According to the editors, Call of Duty WWII: Vanguard is not really a code name, but according to the latest plans: Activision wants this to be the name of the production in the end.
Modernwarzone mentioned the action in the “alternative vision of WWII”, where the war lasted longer and the story itself was to take players back to the 1950s. According to the editors of Eurogamer, there is an error here because Call of Duty WWII: Vanguard is to introduce the “traditional WW2 setting”.
The editors also emphasize that the Call of Duty series has had great problems with leaks for years and Eurogamer has been systematically confirming the name and location of events for five years before the presentation. Call of Duty WWII: Vanguard will be the second World War II game in the Call of Duty series in the last decade.
