Infinity Ward, the developer of COD: Modern Warfare II, shared this news at the recent Call of Duty League Championship (CDL Champs) tournament.
With the previous beta, the release date is separate from the console type and whether users pre-order the game or not.
To collect The borderTuesday (9/8/2022), early access to the first beta of this game starts September 17-17, 2022 for PlayStation 4 and 5, players pre-order the game.
Next pre-order followed by an open beta for all PlayStation players, starting on September 18th and ending on September 20th.
Crossplay beta for Call of Duty players pre-order The game on PlayStation, Xbox and PC will run from 22 to 23 September. Meanwhile, the open crossplay beta for all platforms starts on 24-26 September 2022.
On CDL Champs, Infinity Ward also introduced a new multiplayer map called the Grand Prix, a track. The map will be available for play during the beta.
Infinity Ward said, if the player didn’t pre-order game, will have the opportunity to receive a beta code for early access. Despite distributing some codes during the tournament, players will have more opportunities to collect them from various streamers and YouTubers before the beta start date.
CoD Modern Warfare 2 will launch on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X / S and PC via Battle.net and Steam starting October 28, 2022.
