Most people play their favorite games at the weekend. This also applies to Call of Duty Modern Warfare. But it is annoying when the servers go down right then.
Update 04/12/2020 – Activision probably didn’t expect this rush. Just in time for Easter, Call of Duty Modern Warfare and Warzone are not playable. The mass of the players was apparently so large that the servers dropped to their knees. But the times in which modern warfare and warzone were not playable have passed after a short time.
Update: 12.2.2020 – The Season 2 update from Call of Duty Modern Warfare is for Activision become a huge success. Unfortunately, the medal has two sides. In the late afternoon, the servers shut down and there is a queue for Call of Duty Modern Warfare. If you want to play now, you have to wait a few minutes before you can play your favorite shooter.
Only a few hours ago it became clear that Activision and Infinity Ward will release a Battle Royale mode in Season 2. The release date or date is still unknown, however, because the developer has not yet made an official statement. However, we have summarized all references to a Battle Royale in Season 2 by CoD: MW here.
Update: December 17th, 2019 – The servers are running stable again. We hope that we won’t have to face failures again next weekend.
Update: 4:30 p.m. – Activision / Blizzard reported it Authentication server problems to have. This means that you cannot log in to the games. Activision / Blizzard is working to solve the problem.
How often on the weekend there are problems with the servers at Activision / Blizzard. The servers are currently down again and some of the players cannot log in to the game. Some also report that the Blizzard Launcher is down or cannot be connected to the Internet.
It is annoying if you have a problem logging in at the weekend or the Blizzard servers are down.

It is of course annoying if you do not access the servers at the weekend, where there is more time to play than during the week. Many players have all the problems with Call of Duty: Modern Warfare slowly getting full.
From Activision / Blizzard is currently not yet informed when the servers will be online again. We keep you informed.
