The third installment of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare picks up where the second installment left off
We can look forward to a sophisticated single player, rich multiplayer and a redesigned zombie mode
The game will be available on all major platforms on November 10th
It has been known for almost a month that a remake of the successful Modern Warfare trilogy under the Call of Duty brand is a sure thing. The new treatment uses the popular setting in a modern environment, which at one time redefined the focus of first-person shooters. Until then, action games from the Second World War were the most popular, but the arrival of Modern Warfare marked a revolution. The first and second parts of the remastered trilogy are already some kind of Friday among the players, while the fans have been impatiently waiting for the last part.
Modern warfare is a bit different
After the announcement, however, Activision didn’t show players anything to win them over. Now, however, both die-hard fans and casual players have finally received the first trailer, which entices the return of old familiar heroes. This time too, there will be no shortage of exciting action missions in which you will fight alongside Captain Price, Farah Karim or the legendary Ghost, for example. The new treatment will follow on from the previous parts and it will definitely not be just a dull shooter.
The developers from Sledgehammer Games maintain the philosophy of “open arenas”, where as a player you can decide in predetermined places whether you prefer a quiet approach or frantic shooting at everything that moves. The most important part, i.e. multiplayer, will receive 16 maps at the beginning, with another 12 gradually added after the release of the game. There should also be hardpoint, kill confirmed modes and a new 3v3v3 mode called cutthroat.
Don’t overlook
The fight for Call of Duty continues. Nintendo and Nvidia joined Microsoft
One interesting thing is the return of the game mode with the undead. The studio Treyarch will take care of it, and according to Activision, it will be the biggest zombie mode in the Call of Duty games to date. We will reportedly see reworked mechanics that players will enjoy in the open world PvE. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III will be available on Xbox, PlayStation and PC (Steam and Battle.net) later this year, on November 10th.
