Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II (2022)

Upon special request, I will open the 2022 Call of Duty topic so that the topics in the other sections are not scattered with various news, rumors, gossip, and leaks. The developers recently announced some important information about the latest release of the upcoming FPS series, so it was time to discuss this year’s release in a separate place.

CALL OF DUTY® COMMUNITY UPDATE: A WARZONE™ SPECIAL BRIEFING FOR OUR PLAYERS

The first official information we know about the game (+ Some info on Twitter):

– This year’s game will be a sequel to Modern Warfare (2019) (If we get the special title, the topics will of course be renamed – oriic)
– The new game and the Warzone experience are built from scratch
– A new evolution of Battle Royale is expected, with a whole new playing field and a new sandbox mode
– The new Call of Duty game as well as Warzone will be powered by a new graphics engine
– This year’s part and the development of the battle royale tributary will be done by Infinity Ward.
– There will be no FOV statement in Warzone on consoles

No official information has yet been received on whether this part, as well as the new Warzone, will be available for previous-generation consoles.
