The new Call of Duty game we can expect this year is a sequel to Modern Warfare (2019)let Activision know through a tweet† The game is being remade by developer Infinity Ward. It is not yet known which new features will be introduced, as well as the story of the new Call of Duty game. However, the title will be driven by a new engine.
That’s not the only game announced by Activision, by the way. In addition to the release of Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2, Infinity Ward will also come with Call of Duty Warzone 2. According to the publisher, the new battle royale shooter will be a “massive evolution of the genre”, with a “huge playing space and a new sandbox mode’.

Too many problems for Warzone
The Coming of Warzone 2 was leaked before† Reportedly, Activision has chosen to make a completely new game, instead of building on the current version of Warzone. That title currently suffers from a lot of bugs and according to rumors it would not be possible to fix all of them by the current engine of the game.
