Call of Duty Mobile has exceeded 650 million downloads

There was a lot of talk about mobile games for a reason when we first heard about a sale Activision. The deal has not been finalized yet, of course, but it is possible Microsoft can be understood from the last annual financial report.

Activision, of course, has a lot of brands under its wing, but Call of Duty Mobile from the day of its premiere, it has become one of the most effective projects of the company.

This is perfectly evidenced by the fact that the last year was a record year for performance CoD Mobile. The game debuted in China and has exceeded 650 million downloads, which means that it was downloaded 150 million times in the last year.

Unfortunately, the rest of the statistics are given to us by very strong generalities. Total revenue from the game “well exceeded” the billion dollars, and the number of active players in the month “was close to that of consoles and PCs.”

We know of course that Call of Duty on PC and consoles, it has not had its best year behind it, and Activision is aware of the pressure it is under Modern Warfare 2022. The comment about the monthly number of players can be treated with a grain of salt.

Call of Duty Mobile still seems to be on par with the rest of the series, which means that the mobile market will remain one of Activision’s main development strategies.
