Call of Duty Cold War leaked … on Doritos packages

Call of Duty Black OPS Cold War would be the next installment in the famous saga. The game, still not officially announced, has already made itself known thanks to a few small leaks. Today, it’s the Doritos brand of crisps that is revealing a little more.

Call of Duty Warzone

When will the new Call of Duty be announced? While Activision has a habit of unveiling the annual part of its franchise around May, this 2020 edition is long overdue. There have been a few leaks here and there, but nothing really concrete.

Today, a new leak comes to us from… Doritos. The famous brand of American chips is indeed selling the wick on future promotional packages planned for the end of the year. You can see, directly on the packaging, an insert with the mention « Call of Duty Black OPS Cold War ». This insert offers us, for a code, to double the XP obtained in the game over a period of one year.

Even more, since it is indicated that the promotion starts as of October 5, 2020. A consistent date, given that Call of Duty is still releasing in October or November. Note that for the game Modern Warfare, released in 2019, Doritos had proposed the same operation.

Caloffe Douty 2020 is long overdue

Call of Duty Cold War is long overdue, but Activision should soon be announcing it. The game has indeed already leaked several times, especially on the Microsoft online store where it appeared. under the name “The Red Door”. As the name suggests, Black OPS Cold War would be included in the Black OPS series and would therefore be developed by Treyarch. It remains to be seen whether after a disappointing Black OPS IIII, the developer will reboot the franchise (like Modern Warfare) or continue on a story started in 2010.

Activision does not seem in a hurry to move on for Caloffe. And for good reason, since Modern Warfare is a hit! The game’s free Battle Royale mode brings together more than 60 million players and we understand that the publisher does not want to break this dynamic. However, we will have to resign ourselves to announcing Cold War one day or another, especially since it will be released in three months.
