Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Double XP Tokens Removed After Initial Confusion – What Gamers Need to Know

With the launch of the first season of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 and Warzone, double XP tokens earned by players of Modern Warfare 2 and 3 have been added to the new game. However, it turned out to be a mistake and they have since been removed.

Many gamers still had multiple double XP tokens in Modern Warfare 2 and 3. With these tokens, XP can be unlocked for levels and weapons twice as fast. When Black Ops 6 was released earlier this fall, it turned out that the remaining tokens were not transferred to that game’s multiplayer. When the first season of Black Ops 6 started last Thursday night, However, it turned out that the signs were still added – to the delight of many players.

However, that happiness was short-lived, as they have now been removed from the game. Recent patch notes note that Treyarch “fixed an issue that could cause old XP tokens to be incorrectly activated in Black Ops 6”. Despite the positive response of many players, the developer decided to remove the signs again.
