Call of Duty 10 years on PC and Nintendo… and PS5?

Microsoft’s acquisition of Activision-Blizzard has made a lot of ink flow in the world of video games, especially when the subject is Call of Duty. After all, as is normal, as soon as Microsoft announced its intention to purchase, the world of video games immediately thought “this is where CoD is exclusive to Xbox consoles!”.

A thought that makes perfect sense, such is the power of the Call of Duty gaming saga in the world of video games. It would always be in Microsoft’s interest, even losing money on the sale of rights, games and add-ons, because in the medium/long term the PlayStation brand would lose value, not having access to one of the biggest names in gaming history.

That said, negotiations continue, with Sony frowning on any kind of proposition. But while that’s happening, Steam (PC) and Nintendo have already agreed to Microsoft’s terms. Call of Duty will be doing its thing on PC and Nintendo consoles, for at least another 10 years.

Therefore, while the authorities and market regulators continue to study this acquisition by Microsoft, the North American giant continues to do everything in its power to ensure that the thing goes ahead.

Therefore, we already have an agreement with Steam, as well as Nintendo, for the game to reach the platforms supported by these giants in the next 10 years. However, at least for now, Sony has not yet given an answer to the proposal. Is it a “power” game? Hmm…

However, it’s important to note that we won’t have a Call of Duty game on the market until 2024. So, until then, a lot can change. By the way, by this point, Nintendo may also have launched the much-promised Switch Pro, or Switch 2, which would be important in supporting the latest and most powerful version of Activision’s FPS.
