Experts fear that Russian gas boycott is fueling the risk of recession
–
Amsterdam – The fact that Russia refuses to supply the Netherlands with gas from Tuesday is not immediately disastrous for us. But to prevent serious gas shortages towards the autumn, according to energy experts, State Secretary Vijlbrief (Mining) must already send out the signal that he is prepared to reopen the Groningen gas field. If he fails to do so, they believe that extreme price increases and serious risks of a recession will arise.
