The city of Bern is awarding a two-month grant from the Stadtgalerie for a residency at the PROGR Center for Cultural Production in Bern to a creative person from the visual arts from outside of Bern (Switzerland or abroad) for mid-October to mid-December 2023. The grant covers the use of the artist-in-residence apartment on the top floor of the PROGR. The artists have a studio space and a bedroom in it. In addition, a payment of 3,000 francs for living expenses and 2,000 francs for production costs are part of the grant. The Stadtgalerie team supports networking in the local scene. Applications are submitted online at www.bern.ch/projektfoerderung. The closing date for entries is August 14, 2023.
