Wheel of Fortune is an American television quiz where each contestant must guess the letters of a hidden phrase. Contestants can win money or prizes.
On the show last night, May 17, a woman from Temecula, California, was the lucky one to win a grand prize.
Victoria Rice managed to win the grand prize of $ 100,000 in the bonus round. In all, he took home $ 123,600 in cash, a trip to Cancun and other prizes.
In this round, Victoria had to guess a phrase to win the grand prize, “Chatting with mom”, it turned out to be the phrase which Victoria deciphered without problems.
The Californian woman describes herself as a " crazy fan of the Wheel of Fortune "In addition, she used to watch the show with her mother when she was a child. She continues to watch the show every night with her boyfriend, Ben.
Moments after getting it right, host Pat Sajak revealed the $ 100,000 grand prize, Victoria screamed with excitement.
Victoria is a tasting room manager in a winery and a level 2 sommelier.
In order to participate in the show, applicants must upload a video, however, the California woman revealed that she was too shy to upload the video.
Victoria commented on the show: "Later, every time my boyfriend and I watched Wheel of Fortune together and I solved a riddle, he would say ‘It could have been you!’ I got tired of him saying it, so I applied, and here I am today! ".
Rice plans to use the money to travel to Europe, where she hopes to gain more knowledge about wine in Italy, Spain and France. The extra money will go towards the purchase of a new car.
