(CNN) — California Gov. Gavin Newsom tested positive for covid-19 on Wednesday, his deputy director of communications, Alex Stack, told CNN.
Newsom is experiencing mild symptoms and will be working remotely and self-isolating, according to Stack.
The governor’s wife, Jennifer Siebel Newsom, tested negative for covid-19, added the deputy director of Communications.
