“We are on the right path and we are in a position to discuss this until the last day”, the Mayor of Calheta reacted, thus, to the passage of the ‘Bailinho da Madeira’, candidacy presented by that Municipality, to the 7 Wonders of Popular Culture and that went on to the semi-final today, having known that result in a program that took place during the afternoon and was broadcast live, from Porto de Mós, by RTP1.
On radio JM FM, the mayor of Calhetense considered that justice was done, as it was a pity if the bailinho da Madeira was not part of the popular culture semi-finalists. “Everyone is to be congratulated. We thank everyone who voted. The competition was strong.”, Stressed the Mayor of Calheta, considering that the goal is to reach the final and win.
