Work Accident IJ are calculated on the basis of your gross salary for the month before (all that is subject to contribution)
So for example if your gross salary is €2100
The cpam calculates your daily income in the example: 2100/30 = 70€ (and a little more I’m not sure if it’s 30 or 30.4 to average the number of days per month)
The first 28 days of arrest the IJ is 60% of this daily income, i.e. in the example €42
You must deduct the CSG and RDS to know the net.
This amount is paid for each day of downtime (including weekends and public holidays)
Then it goes to 80%, i.e. in the example €56
You must deduct the CSG and RDS to know the net.
This amount is paid for each day of downtime (including weekends and public holidays)
So from the 29th day normally you have almost no loss of salary just with IJ.
On the other hand, since it is a road accident, your insurance (or that of the third party if caused by a third party) may be able to cover something.
