The euro, like all news, needs time to be “assimilated”, and if dual currency initially circulates, even in the transfer market the obligation to pay in euros only starts in March.
The case of Baiocco sold in January from Perugia to Juventus for 5 billion lire plus the O’Neill card. While the latter reaches his new club as early as January, however, Baiocco will wear the black and white jersey from June, when the business will be concluded only in euros, although having already been paid in lire.
