The game Star Wars Jedi : Fallen Order was a real success on all consoles, and on many key points. So it was logical that a sequel is planned, and this one is called Star Wars Jedi : Survivor. There will certainly be many of the characters from the first game, including Cal Lasted for who the actor and voice actor tease Many changes.
Star Wars Jedi : an ambitious sequel
Star Wars Jedi : Fallen Order already impressed us a lot with its captivating story and challenging gameplay, if we exclude the wall jump phases. The game placed us in the universe of the galaxy far, far away, five years after the rise of the Galactic Empire and the Great Purge of the Jedi orchestrated by Emperor Palpatine. The character that the player embodies, Cal Kestis, hides on the planet Bracca to survive this disrupted world by working as a junkyard, until Darth Vader’s Inquisitors, tasked with tracking down the last living Jedi, track him down.
The game was a huge success when it was released. A reassuring success which proves that by giving its developers more freedom, Electronic Arts is still able to produce great games. It is therefore quite naturally that a sequel has seen the tip of its nose pointing. Named Eat : Survivor, it will continue to present the life and adventures of Cal Kestis in the galaxy. Until now, we didn’t have many details regarding the new adventures of our favorite character. But the interpreter and model of this one, Cameron Monaghan (in VF: Adrien Larmande) has long discussed with the media ComingSoon. In the interview, he gives clues as to what awaits Cal Kestis in the next installment:
He is someone who lived through a genocide. A purge of his kind and who has lived in hiding for most of his life. For me, a survivor is someone who can persist in the face of extraordinary odds. This is largely the subject of our story. We see Cal being tested more than ever and it brings him to difficult trials that he will still have to overcome. We will have interesting questions, for Cal, and for the universe in general.
Eat Survivor will see Cal Kestis evolve
Although he must remain very enigmatic and evasive in his answers, Monaghan went on to explain how the development of Kestis made him a unique character in the gaming world. : “CIt’s exciting to see how this character will evolve over time. Watching him grow up is very interesting, scriptwise speaking. The game [Jedi : Survivor] takes place approximately 5 years after the events of the first game. During this story, Cal will change a lot. It was a joy to explore this character who happens to be truly unique. We tried to emphasize that as much as possible in his story, which should normally be morally much more complex than the first opus.
The game Star Wars Jedi : Survivor is expected for the year 2023. Cal Kestis intends to rebuild the Jedi Order. Respawn Intertainment promises a much darker atmosphere as this time Kestis will do whatever it takes to defeat the Empire. EA has previously stated that the game will only be available on next-gen consoles and possibly later on PC. If you want more information on the game, it’s to the merchandising that you have to turn. As often, it is much more subject to leaks than other platforms and thus reveals valuable information about the game.
