Chairman of the National Awakening Party or PKB Muhaimin Iskandar or Cak Imin starting to take a gander at it 2024 presidential election. He met a number of former vice presidents to launch his wish to sit in the cawapres chair.
Cak Imin was scheduled to meet with a number of vice presidential candidates, such as the 10th and 12th Vice Presidents Jusuf Kalla, the 9th Vice President Hamzah Haz, the 11th Vice President Boediono, and the 6th Vice President Try Soetrisno. So far, Cak Imin has met with Jusuf Kalla and Hamzah Haz.

The former vice president who Cak Imin met for the first time was Jusuf Kalla. The second meeting lasted approximately 1.5 hours.
Cak Imin arrived at JK’s residence, last Saturday (6/5), at 20.09 WIB. Then the two held a press conference at 21.33 WIB.
On that occasion, Cak Imin actually received various inputs and advice.
“The advice he gave, the important thing is to enlarge PKB, strengthen the constituents, that is a note for our political future,” said Cak Imin after meeting JK
Apart from that, said Cak Imin, JK also advised him to be ready to face challenges. And must give priority to solidarity. The deputy chairman of the DPR RI admitted that he was happy to receive advice from JK. Cak Imin said that JK often helped him when facing challenges.
“Mr. JK not only guides, advises. But also sometimes helps us to overcome various challenges, problems, both regarding his NUan, Islam, the struggle for da’wah in mosques and so on. He has run many struggles and this includes politics,” said Cak Imin .
Further, Cak Imin admitted asking for advice from JK for the next steps. He will also continue to ask JK for guidance.
“I will continue to ask for his advice, will continue to seek his guidance and advice,” he said.
