CaixaBank proposes the departure of 312 people from its workforce in the Canary Islands | Radio Club Tenerife | Hour 25 Canary Islands

The banking entity CaixaBank plan to delete 312 company jobs in the Canary Islands. As Radio Club Tenerife – Cadena SER has learned, the company with the largest presence in the Archipelago in the sector plans to reduce 19 jobs in the province of Santa Cruz de Tenerife Y 293 in Las Palmas.

The numbers coincide with the forecasts expressed by the unions in the Archipelago in September 2020 when the process for the merger of Bankia and CaixaBank began.

CaixaBank, after the merger with Bankia, employs in the islands 1921 employees. Many of them work in one of the 301 offices that it keeps open on the islands.
