BARCELONA, 10 MAR. (EUROPA PRESS) –
CaixaBank and Microsoft Ibérica have launched a new call to award the best Stem students (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) in Spain with the Wonnow Awards.
In a statement this Wednesday, the bank explained that these awards are aimed at students from 80 Spanish universities with 180 credits passed from technical university degrees.
The CEO of CaixaBank, Gonzalo Gortázar, has indicated that the objective of the Wonnow Awards is to “support very talented women, who are at the beginning of their professional careers, so that they bet on the professions of the future” .
The president of Microsoft Spain, Pilar López, has argued that it is time to reimagine Spain through digitization and, for this, “companies need to incorporate qualified talent with digital skills.”
The Wonnow 2021 Awards will award 10,000 euros to the student with the best academic record of a technical university degree in one of the 80 Spanish universities that collaborate with the call.
On the other hand, another 10 students will have access to a paid scholarship to work at CaixaBank and all will participate in a mentoring program with Microsoft Ibérica.
