The young Australian TikTok profile Caitlyn Loane passed away this week, only 19 years old. The death confirms the 19-year-old’s father Phillip Loane to the Australian newspaper The Mercury.
– She was a wonderful, wild young woman who was an invaluable family member. Words cannot describe our loss, he says, according to People.

The cause of death is not yet known. The father tells the newspaper that every day should be “RU OK?” – the day. This is a national day in Australia that focuses on mental health and suicide prevention.
The 19-year-old’s mother also shares some warm words about her daughter.
– Her smile lit up the room. She was not afraid to get dirty, and in some pictures she has mud up to her knees, she says.

Caitlyn, better known on TikTok as Catie, used her platform to promote women in the agricultural profession. She herself was a fourth-generation farmer who wanted to follow in her father’s footsteps.
On her TikTok profile, she shared clips from peasant life in her hometown of Tasmania, Australia, and several of the videos showed Caitlyn in a tractor or with her farm animals.

Touching tribute
In addition to TikTok, Caitlyn spent much of his free time on the football field. Here she played Australian football for Devonport Football Club.
On the club’s Facebook page, the team shared a touching tribute in honor of their late team player, according to People.

“The management, members, players, volunteers, sponsors and supporters of Devonport Football Club convey our deepest condolences and warmest thoughts to Caitlyn’s family and friends, who of course include her teammates in the DFC Senior Women’s Team,” the football club wrote.
After Caitlyn’s death, the club has also decided to change focus.
