The media center of the Cabinet said that, in contact with the Ministry of Agriculture and Land Reclamation, which denied such reports, stressing that there is no truth about the spread of foot and mouth disease among livestock in Egypt following the ‘absence of vaccination campaigns to protect them, and that the sanitary state of the livestock in all the governorates of the Republic is absolutely safe, underlining the supply of all vaccinations and preventive vaccinations of the livestock periodically against possible epidemic diseases, noting that the third national campaign to vaccinate livestock against foot and mouth disease and Rift Valley fever has been launched since November 19, 2022 in all governorates of the Republic, calling on all farmers to respond to vaccination campaigns in order to preserve livestock.
