“Cahors Express” returns for a thrilling third season featuring a devilish twist

And here we go for a third season. Cahors Express is making a comeback this Saturday. 10 pairs will travel the Lot over more than 60 kilometres. The goal ? Hitchhiking to be the first to arrive, while overcoming numerous challenges. Nathan Peltriaux, a Cadurcien in his twenties, will therefore take out his camera to give life to Beijing Express, Lot version.

The adventure began in 2021. “I’m passionate about video, editing, all these TV shows… I wanted to create something. At the start, it was a race between friends. Without telling anyone, I made a little film. We got together to watch it. It was something unique. I posted it on the internet, and it had a little success”, describes Nathan. The “Cahors Express” adventure is launched.

The devil of the Valentré bridge comes into play

In 2022, the Cadurcien, extracurricular animator at the Pierre Ségala school, opened his own company “Cinématics”. Last year, he therefore left for a second broadcast. The 20 participants film themselves using a selfie stick, and Nathan and his team take care of the rest of the filming. “We shot it in June. I did the editing for a few months. And with the Le Grand Palais cinema, we had a preview on October 15. There were 180 people. It was a success” , rejoices the young man.

So, this year, heading for the third season. But this time, Nathan decides to add his personal touch. “The idea is to make a real film, to bring something more scripted. These are not actors, these are people who will live a real experience, who will feel and transmit emotions. The everything, mixed up in a scenario”, explains the Cadurcien. This is the legend of the devil of Pont Valentré who interferes in the adventure. “It’s linked to the end of the last show. We have a pair that disappears in Cahors Express 2. There, I use it to integrate this story”, says Nathan. The suspense is almost unbearable… The partnership with the Grand Palais is renewed: next October, an evening will be organized to discover the program “The legend of the devil”.
