SOCIAL. Uninova held the second ‘CaféCon’ of the SPIN_UP project yesterday morning. Led by this entity, the Igape, the Santiago Chamber of Commerce, the Tambre Business Area Association, the University of Porto and the National Association of Young Entrepreneurs (ANJE) also participate as partners. The project is the result of the Galicia-Northern Portugal transnational cooperation between entities dedicated to promoting business development and supporting university entrepreneurship in those territories, with the aim of stimulating and favoring the creation of innovative companies through technology transfer and knowledge in the Cooperation Space, seeking a balance between the needs of the productive fabric and the offer of knowledge-generating agents. The opening of the day was in charge of Carme Casado Casado, CEO of Uninova and head of Economic Development in the Office of Economic Promotion dependent on the Mayor’s Office of Santiago. During the conference, the Catalog of patents and research results created within the framework of this project was presented, which includes transferable technologies from the Euroregion Galicia-Norte de Portugal. The presentation was followed by the intervention of the consultant Javier Varela, ‘Sustainable marketing, a strategy for the present future’, in which market changes and the importance of employing more sustainable marketing strategies were addressed.
