CAF- Instructor training: Hortensia Mamihasina present in Morocco

Former member of the national team, Hortensia Mamihasina, continues her journey in the world of football. She strengthened her capacity as an instructor in Morocco through an internship organized by the Confederation of African Football (CAF) since October 18 and which ended yesterday. She represented Madagascar in Rabat among the 19 participating countries. After her first instructor course in 2020 in South Africa, Hortensia Mamihasina obtained her second certificate yesterday, a boon for Malagasy football. The program was busy throughout the days. In the mornings, the trainees began theoretical lessons, while in the afternoons practical sessions took place. The training was provided by the CAF technical director and several experts. “ The objective is to promote football in my native region, to train novice coaches. The course does not stop there, we encouraged each other to continue to develop our skills following the evolution of football “, she explained. Indeed, Hortensia has a wealth of experience in this world of education. She has completed several courses, including high-level courses, organized by FIFA. She has already obtained License C and B diplomas. Her last appearance with the national team was in 2015 during the Indian Ocean Islands Games in Reunion. Hortensia was born in Boeny but football forced him to move to the Atsinanana region. “I would like to thank all the technical managers of the FMFl who pushed me to always move forward.
