CONAKRY- Exempted from the first preliminary round of the CAF Champions League, Horoya AC is making its return to this continental interclub tournament. The Guinean vice-champion plays his first leg match in Ghana against Medeama this Sunday. The Red and Whites of Matam flew this Friday morning to the Ghanaian capital.
After several departures of its senior players, the club management has placed its trust in several young people from the reserve team. In this sense, eleven young footballers were promoted to the first team. Horoya will face Medeama from Ghana this Sunday, September 17 at Cape Coast Stadium.
