The champion club of Madagascar, Disciples FC will enter the competition tomorrow at the Stade Côte d’Or. The Malagasy team will face Orlando Pirates, a club from South Africa.
Disciples FC, champions of Madagascar, are preparing for a high level clash in the CAF Champions League. After their stay in Mauritius, the Malagasy team is ready for the first leg against Orlando Pirates, scheduled for tomorrow at the Stade Côte d’Or, at 3pm local time (2pm in Madagascar). This choice of a neutral stadium is due to the fact that there is no ground approved by CAF in Madagascar. The Vakinankaratra delegation has been getting used to their host environment, with intensive preparations for this decisive first round. Disciples FC will have 28 players on their roster for this first African campaign. The team also relies on the contribution of three players from Fosa Juniors FC: goalkeeper Fabrice, attacking midfielder Tiavina Rakotoarisoa, alias Donga, and right back Nicolas will try to take advantage of the confirm that to face the mighty Orlando Pirates. The return match will take place in South Africa on August 23 at the Orlando Stadium, at 5pm local time. With a South African side well-known on the continental scene, Disciples FC will need to use all their assets to hope to continue their Champions League adventure.
