Division V of the American automobile company Cadillac, which is responsible for high-performance versions of Cadillacs, will celebrate its 20th anniversary this year. However, the reminder will not be a car with a supercharged eight-cylinder, as is common in this division, but an electric car – at least according to the website Carscoopswhich refers to the statement of the car company’s management.
Its members said that “high performance is part of Cadillac’s promise” to customers, so the brand will “offer high-performance variants regardless of drivetrain.”
They subsequently revealed plans to show “an interpretation of what a Division V car would look like in electric car form” sometime this year.
However, this is all that is known so far – we can only speculate further. One possibility could be a powerful version of the Escalade IQ model. Even the one revealed last year is not at all weak with a power of 559 kW and a torque of 1063 Nm, but you can go even further – the GMC Hummer EV, a car also belonging to the General Motors concern, can offer up to 746 kW.
