The American carmaker Cadillac has confirmed that it will launch a sports version of its largest model.

The Escalade V will thus become another member of the V-Series family, which includes more sporty cars of the traditional luxury brand.
Cadillac has not yet revealed much detail, released just a few photos of the pre-production model, showed a video outlining how the news would sound, and added a note that complete information, including technical details and specifications, will be revealed in the spring.
However, the American media assumes that the Escalade V will receive a 6.2-liter eight-cylinder turbocharged, the same as the CT5-V Blackwing sedan. In it, the engine provides a maximum output of 498 kW and a maximum torque of 893 Nm. We can probably count on a ten-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive.

For comparison, the standard petrol Escalade hides under the hood of an atmospherically filled 6.2-liter V8 with an output of 313 kW and a “twist” of 624 Nm
The Escalade V will also differ from the standard design in a sportier look and we can assume that it will also offer a modified chassis, more powerful brakes, other wheels or sportier steering.
The already mentioned video reveals that we can look forward to a sporty exhaust and an honest, beautifully raw sound.
