Cadillac unveiled new CT5 in New York – Life

Cadillac has now presented the CT5 in New York, which will also come to us at the beginning of 2020.

The new Cadillac CT5 celebrated its world premiere at the Auto Show in New York. The CT6’s little brother is intended to replace both the ATS and the CTS.

The design is very dynamic. While the front section with the striking LED headlights looks very beefy, the rear is very elegant and is also reminiscent of older Cadillac models.

With a length of 492 cm, the CT5 should also offer passengers plenty of space, the sedan also has a digital cockpit and a large touchscreen.

Meanwhile, the era of V8 engines is largely over in America, even the luxurious Cadillac has to make do with a 4-cylinder turbo engine in the basic version.

This has an output of 240 hp. Alternatively, there is a 3.0 liter V6 turbo with 340 hp to choose from.

Both engines come with a 10-speed automatic as standard. The CT5 can also be ordered with rear or all-wheel drive.

The new Cadillac CT5 will launch in the US in fall 2019, but it won’t come to us until early 2020.
