Cadillac attaches to the Celestiq electric sedan

Americans can look forward to another luxury electric car that will drive through the flat and virtually endless-looking highways in the future. For the second time, Cadillac provides a more detailed look at the Celestiq electric sedan, which is supposed to bring luxury, technological sophistication and a number of innovations.

“From its unique proportions and new, simple language of shapes to precision and attention to detail, celestiq is unlike anything on today’s roads,” said Magalie Debellis, one of the design managers. Her words are also confirmed by new detailed pictures of a hand-made prototype.

The Celestiq Cadillac first spoke about the Celestiq electric car more than a year ago, when the company introduced a high-performance, luxury sedan with an all-glass roof and a massive display that stretched across the entire width of the dashboard. Celestiq is the first car in the world to offer, for example, glass technology with dispersed particles, which can be darkened or vice versa.

The celestiq cab offers several front and rear screens, a selection of the most luxurious materials and unprecedented comfort. In addition, the electric car should be built on the Ultium platform by General Motors, as well as the Hummer EV electric pick-up.

The car will offer a range of approximately 640 kilometers and will also be supplied with fast charging technology with an output of up to 350 kW. The car will have all-wheel drive and also the ability to drive them on both axles.

General Motors has not yet announced the date celestiq will present it, but given the release of the trailers, most experts believe this could happen later this year. The mass-produced celestiq could arrive next year and the price of the car could reach the level of $ 200,000 (4.7 million crowns).
