Cable theft: train traffic seriously disrupted in Lille | TF1 INFORMATION

A new cable theft occurred very early Wednesday morning in Lille (North), on the SNCF network. Train traffic at Lille Flandres station was halted for several hours. The TER and TGV have stopped. It will not be returned until tomorrow Thursday 10 October. Every year the railway company suffers 1,500 harassments on these routes, often accompanied by copper theft. This metal has become very precious because its value has quadrupled in fifteen years.
