Cabinet wants to get rid of investment scheme for companies | Financial

THE HAGUE (AFN) – The cabinet wants to withdraw the much-discussed BIK scheme, which stimulated investment by companies. The European Commission has warned during an ‘informal consultation’ that the scheme could be classified as unauthorized state aid, the Ministry of Finance reports. Instead, the government now wants to lower the premiums for the General Unemployment Fund, so that there is still more room to invest.
