Is Wilders still out to make the asylum problem worse?
After months of whining and protesting, a letter has finally been sent from the cabinet to the House of Representatives outlining the new asylum policy. It has become a nasty cocktail, clearly intended to make asylum seekers smell bad. However, the stench will spread throughout the Netherlands because the plans promoted by Wilders are the biggest problems. The asylum problem will also not be made worse, but that may be the intention.
It can be concluded from the letter that Foreign Affairs was asked to declare at least some parts of Syria safe in an official message, even if this is still fiction. This allows the government to refuse entry to asylum seekers from that country and to put status holders on a plane. They will soon do that for the whole world. Then you can steer to the right. Ha!
In the government proposal, residence permits are valid for three years. It will then be decided that the guardians cannot return to their country. They are no longer designated households but live in hard facilities and transit locations. The thought comes to mind about the camps for the returning Moluccan KNIL soldiers and their children. If this plan gets off the ground, there is no doubt that large places will be built in remote places where the status quo will get as much space as possible out of the sight of white Dutch people.
The limited duration of the residence permit is not an incentive for employers to hire them and certainly not to provide them with vocational training. Before you know it, they were sent away again by the diligent cabinet. On the other hand, status quo holders now have little reason to invest energy in integration. After all, the stay is temporary. Furthermore, if a workplace presents itself, is it accessible to people from the camp? In the end, life in the Netherlands offers nothing but hopelessness for asylum seekers and migrants.
The places of transit with their hard resources become places where people are injured to death, where there is conflict between each other and rampant violence. This is, as it were, organized by the cabinet. Wilders and the fake farmer can then point fingers together.
All this makes these places an expensive pastime. In practice, asylum seekers do not have the opportunity to earn their own income. So they are still dependent on government support.
This, of course, also applies to asylum seekers. They are allowed to do nothing but wait for their turn, which will never come. The penalty that judges may impose if there is too much slowness on the part of the government will be abolished, so that there is no longer an incentive for decision-making officials to act urgently.
Naturally, friendly relations will arise between asylum seekers and Dutch citizens. Does this change their status? Marriage does not just make foreign partners Dutch. Will they get a permanent residence permit or should they fear being deported after three years to complete the complex and deliberate journey back to the Netherlands from home? What happens if they have children? The Romans had a simple rule for determining a person’s status: the belly determines the child. The children of female slaves were ipso facto slaves themselves. You could do that with asylum seeking children too. If the mother lives in the transit area, the child can also be sent. You can’t touch that anymore these days. The father also has rights. This causes a lot of controversy and drama. Will the mother be sent away to a safe country while the child stays with the father? And shouldn’t the same ipso facto rule apply to a child born to someone with Dutch citizenship, as long as the father lives in the place of transfer? Should DNA testing be involved in this? It’s all bad and inhumane. And there will be great social unrest due to the uncertainty of the whole thing and the unexpected consequences that will surely come and this cabinet is not ready at all.

For the rest, I believe that the cost scandal should not disappear from the public’s attention, and that the relationship surrounding the Groningen natural gas should not now that it seems that the wells are not the last closed. I also call the PVV a far-right party.
