Fuel should fall in price in Ukraine

Taking into account the maximum markups, the cost of gasoline cannot exceed 31.67 hryvnia per liter, diesel fuel – 28.64 hryvnia per liter.
Ministry of Economy made public new calculations of the average cost of gasoline and diesel fuel, from which the filling station networks can set their markup. This was reported on Friday, August 13th.
It is indicated that the next calculations as of August 11 were provided by NJSC Naftogaz of Ukraine. Estimated prices for gasoline have been reduced from UAH 26.86 to UAH 26.67 per liter, for diesel fuel they have been reduced from UAH 22.24 to UAH 21.64 per liter.
Thus, taking into account the maximum markups, the cost of gasoline at a filling station cannot exceed 31.67 hryvnia per liter, diesel fuel – 28.64 hryvnia per liter.
As you know, on May 15, the Cabinet of Ministers introduced a state regulation of retail prices for gasoline and diesel fuel… The maximum retail markup was introduced in the amount of 5 hryvnia for gasoline and 7 hryvnia for diesel. According to the decree, Naftogaz submits calculations to the Ministry of Economy on a monthly basis until the 1st, 11th and 21st.
It was also reported that the government does not yet see the need to regulate auto gas prices by analogy with other types of fuel. The situation with record auto gas prices commented on the First Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Economy Alexei Lyubchenko.
