With the evening lockdown in force so far, entrepreneurs have already had to make important decisions in the past period in terms of planning, staffing and purchasing. These orders cannot be reversed.”

Compensation

According to KHN, entrepreneurs must be compensated for this purchase, for which there will be no turnover. “They are still in heavy debt from previous lockdowns, they really can’t handle this.”

KHN also advocates an exit strategy that should provide the catering industry with clarity for the coming weeks, but also for the coming years. “A clear vision and plan should prevent us from having to deal with new measures time and again that destroy the industry. Structural financial solutions must also be found that go further than just the TVL and NOW.”
