Cabinet does not bow to province: extra money for bus and train is not forthcoming

Waiting for these figures is too late for politicians in Groningen and Drenthe. The Public Transport Bureau Groningen-Drenthe, which determines where buses will continue to run in Groningen in the coming years, must submit a draft budget for 2023 to the Ministry of Infrastructure by 1 July at the latest. In the run-up to this draft budget, Members of Parliament want to help decide which regions will or will not keep buses.
