Cabimas.-The Cabimas municipality managed to obtain a total of 96 medals in the II National Festival of Women’s Artistic Gymnastics, which took place at the end of September and beginning of October, in Nueva Bolivia, Mérida state.
24 girls from the Cabimas Gymnastics Club (Gimcab), obtained an outstanding performance from the ages of 6 to 15 at different levels, thus managing to bring 96 medals to the oil city in the following apparatus: balance beam, jump and hands-free, first place for team at levels 2 group 3A and group 3B; secondly level 1 and pre level.
The victory was also achieved by the gymnast, Avril Nuñez, All Raund champion with 5 gold medals.
Parparticipants
Pre level 6 years :Victoria Bermúdez and Paola Mezher, won a gold medal in freehands.
Level 1. 7 years: Hiraimar Gil, won a Gold medal in freehands, while Valentina Flores and Valería Tovar, took second place as a team.
Level 2. 8 and 9 years: Maria Vivas, Nathalia Talavera, Camila Perez, Scarlett Oberto, Rosmary Parra, placed first as a team.
Level 3 group A: Keytin Rojas Mariailec Parra, Maria Castellano, Luciana Piña, Elizabeth Matos, Kamila Tang, achieved first place as a team.
Level 3 group B: Hillary Gil, Avril Nuñez, Gabriela Flores, Darlyn Blanco, Keith Suescun, Ediliani Villarreal, stood out with the first
place per team.
All-Raund Champion with 5 Avril Nuñez gold medals.

It is worth highlighting that thanks to the parents and representatives of these girls, the trip was possible so that all the girls will represent the Cabimas municipality and the Zulia state.
