Founded in 1876 by brothers Frederick and Jakob Beringer. It is the oldest Napa Valley wine cellar still in operation. Levin mainly comes from the Central Coast region with the Monterey and Paso Robles appellations. This valley is separated from the Pacific by a mountain range, the Santa Lucia Range, but benefits from the freshness of the sea winds blowing from the bay of Monterey which opens on the sea.
