Especially in times of a pandemic, the view of the open-air summer is all the more beautiful. The local organizers have adapted to the circumstances and have launched a number of outdoor events since 2020, which are intended to enable cultural enjoyment in the fresh air that is as corona-safe as possible.
For example the Viennese cabaret scene. Also this year we can look forward to humor and entertainment in a large outdoor setting. Here is a preview of the dates already fixed, to note in the calendar:

The motto here is: “Airy – funny – beautiful – safe.” Theater im Park, founded during the pandemic, is here to stay. The founding duo Michael Niavarani and Georg Hoanzl are celebrating their third season this year. Also in 2022, the atmospheric Schwarzenberg Garden next to the Belvedere will be made accessible to theater guests.
Theater, cabaret, music and literature will once again be on offer. It opens on May 19th with Niavarani’s new play “The History of Comedy”, which he brings to the stage together with the Simpl-Ensemble.
