C. Tangana remembers the composer Sergio Larrinaga a year after his death

The rapper from Madrid Antón Álvarez Alfaro, artistically known as C. Tangana, composed the song “Too Many Women” in 2020, obtaining three platinum records and first place in Spain. This work begins with an introduction to the “El Amor” march, composed in 2012 by Sergio Larrinaga, dedicated to the Brotherhood of Love of Jerez de la Frontera.

In February 2021, C. Tangana published the album “El Madrileño”, which included this successful song along with 13 other songs. Just a week before, Sergio Larrinaga died at the age of 45, author of marches such as “Gypsy, you are from Santa María”, “El Dolor”, “A tus Brazos Madre”, “And he was whipped”, “Eternity” , “In your sounds, my Inspiration”, “From your Humility a Rosary”, “El Amor” or “Raíces Marineras”, among others.

The man from Cádiz was the director of important musical groups in Andalusia, such as the Bugle and Drum Band of Our Lady of the Rosary of Cádiz, the Bugle and Drum Band of Our Father Jesus of the Presentation to the People of Two Sisters, or the Bugle Band and Drums of Health of Córdoba.

C. Tangana has decided to make, during this concert tour, a heartfelt tribute to the ill-fated composer, projecting some images including Larrinaga in a flower crown while his march sounds. These images have become viral these days, a few weeks after the one year anniversary of the sad death of the author of these musical sounds.
