C. Budejovice – Liberec 5: 4, Drama from a clear duel! But the White Tigers did not end the black series

During the opening ceremony, the home attackers Gulaš and Pech enjoyed applause for joining the Sport Shooters’ Club. From the beginning, fast hockey was played with interesting events on both sides. The score was opened by Ordoš from Liberec, who ran Ivan’s shot from the blue line.

The home captain Gulaš leveled, who pushed through with an uncompromising shot from the left circle. This was preceded by Pech’s excellent work in the offensive zone. The South Bohemian turnover was arranged by the defender Piskáček. In the role of a fake wing, he volunteered to the left post of the opponent’s goal and scored with a backhand from a difficult angle. A somewhat cheap goal went to the large extent of the unprepared goalkeeper Pavelka.

The second act began with the mistake of the North Bohemians, who threw the disc blindly along the guardrail, the home team caught it in the offensive zone, and Doležal expertly finished the lightning renumbering. Venkrbec, Doležal and Holec had other opportunities on the part of the locals, whose predominance was growing.

In the 33rd minute, the České Budějovice defense hesitated for a while and Percy hit the stick of his own goal in the heat of battle. Karabáček and also the defender Lytvynov, who entered the extra league this year for the first time after a quick call from Havířov, got into chances. Before leaving the locker room, Karabáček increased their score with a shot from the right circle to the opposite pole and Vondrka up close with a stop at the left pole.

Hrachovina was not left without work either, who at the beginning of the third part kept the České Budějovice team weakened, then covered the dangerous shots of Vlach and Rosandič.

In the last ten minutes, the guests dramatized the match. Ordoš reduced from two to one renumbering with his second goal, and Zachar scored shortly afterwards with a shot over the falling defender. Two and a half minutes before the siren, Rychlovský lowered the bomb from the right circle, but the home team defended the final power play.
