After six years as President and CEO of Byggmax, Mattias Ankarberg has informed the Board of Directors that he is leaving the Byggmax Group to take up an executive position in another company and industry.
During Ankarberg’s term of office, Byggmax had become a “much stronger company and well positioned for the future,” comments Anders Moberg, President of the Board of Directors, on Mattias Ankarberg’s departure. Today, Byggmax has a strong position as a low-price provider, has a much broader range of offerings than just a few years ago, pursues an ambitious sustainability agenda and has a high level of employee engagement. “We are coming forward from a position of strength, looking forward to the future and wishing Mattias the best of luck in his next position.”
Mattias Ankarberg will remain in his current position until August 9, 2023.
